“I saw Granite Center’s advertised sale on Angie’s list. I made a query via their website for someone to call me regarding a free estimate. Within an hour I had received a call and had an appointment for someone to come out and do measurements that same Friday afternoon. He was on time and meticulous in his work. There was some small modification to my cabinets that needed to be done and he was able to have his carpenter come out the next morning. Again within the hour I had the final price for granite countertops on my existing cabinets. I went down to their beautiful showroom that morning and was able to select the slab of granite. Granite Center has A LOT to choose from. Level A granite. This was between 25% and 50% less than two other quotes I had received.
The best part was that I was able to pay 50% when signing the contract and the remainder when the work was completed. Stores like Home Depot and Lows wanted the entire in-store estimate up front before having a sub-contractor come out to do an actual estimate.
The price included a stainless steel sink, faucet cutouts and installation as well as the cabinet modification.
Installation was done on the following Friday January t. A crew of 3 arrived and set to work ripping out the old countertop; they were very careful about not damaging the walls, floor and existing appliances. It took about 3.5 hours start to finish, and they did an excellent job cleaning up.

“After 12 years in our home, it was time for some updates so we set a budget of $5000 to go as far as we could make it stretch. Consulting with our designer we narrowed color choices to several options that both suited us and were popular in terms of resale as we intend to remain in this house only 5-7 more years at the outside. The designer also arranged to have Granite Center quote new countertops which we expected to be the major cost of this project. We felt this upgrade would be very important both for our enjoyment as well as resale since granite or solid surface countertops would be expected by most buyers in this market. After measurement by both our designer and a Granite Center estimator we visited the showroom and selected a beautiful slab for our counters. The install was arranged for the following Friday and the installers arrived about 1/2 hour earlier than we scheduled which was no problem for us. Within a matter of a few minutes, our laminate countertops were removed and the granite was on the way in. During the installation we found there was a slight bow in one wall that prevented the new countertops for fitting exactly and would not allow the stove to fit back in its place. Getting the new countertops to line up properly would require cutting an edge off, which I feared would leave an unfinished edge, however the installers were able to cut and polish the edge to match the appearance of the rest of the countertops right onsite. Their craftsmanship was amazing and they managed to hide the bowed wall problem so well that it would need to be pointed out before it would be noticed. I was very impressed with both the initial craftsmanship and the on-the-fly adjustments the installers were able to make and our new counter tops are amazing. A fantastic upgrade to our home.
This project obviously consumed most of our $5000 update budget, however we were still able to have the entire downstairs (including a 2 story entrance foyer) professionally painted, and remain under budget. We will paint the remaining bedrooms ourselves and have a completely refreshed home for only slightly more than our initial estimate.

“We had our existing counter tops replaced with new granite by Granite Center. The previous owners of our house had put glass tile over the existing formica so it was a bear to rip out. Granite Center removed the mess for no additional charge to us then installed the granite we had picked out. We received a very competitive price from them and one of the benefits, in our opinion, is that everything is done in house as opposed to the typical pick out your own slab then pick your fabricators to install. We liked the idea of a one stop shop, including Granite Center providing a licensed plumber in our pricing (who was also very cordial). At the last minute I remembered I really wanted a cutting board/stone made from our granite and my request was granted at no additional cost to us either. Most importantly all the staff at the Granite Center was excellent. They do a lot of other types of renovations and we will definitely be working with them again!”

We needed a new kitchen countertop but were a bit nervous about the whole process because (1) we knew it was a big expense, and (2) we knew we’d be “stuck” with whatever we chose for decades to come so we wanted to get it right the first time.

We were positively impressed with Granite Center from the moment we stepped in – their showroom was beautiful and everyone that greeted us was very courteous and professional. They had a nice variety of granite colors, including some that we hadn’t seen in other granite places we had visited. Every staff member seemed truly happy to be able to help us, from making us feel more at ease about the process to being genuinely honest about what they thought would and would not be the best look for our particular kitchen. The business owner, Mr. Ramazan Karaman, treated us as old friends – even offering to work late on a Saturday after finishing up another job his company had that Saturday, to help fit our schedule (we didn’t ask him to give up his Saturday – he offered out of his own good will!). Their crew that came it to actually remove the old countertop and install the new granite was also a very professional crew. Their pricing was more than reasonable, and they did not nickel and dime us – they still gave us the package deal of $2500 for 50 sq. ft. of installed granite plus kitchen sink, even though our countertop was slightly over 50 sq. ft.

They did an incredibly beautiful and professional job – our kitchen layout made it impossible to have the granite be a single slab all the way around but I tell you, it is very, very difficult to find the seam they had to do between granite slabs. They also had a quick 1-week turn-around time from the moment we agreed to get this service from them to the day we were staring at our newly installed granite countertop. And they were right – the particular granite color and pattern they recommended looks absolutely fantastic with our existing kitchen counters. We are so glad we trusted them with this service – we couldn’t have asked for better results. We now consider everyone at Granite Center our friends (they really were that friendly and personable!), and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for kitchen remodeling services!

“Granite Center removed our old kitchen countertops and installed new granite countertops and under-mounted sink as well as the faucet. We had initially told them that we would take care of all of the plumbing, but decided it was better to have their plumber do it. We did not schedule plumbing to be performed during the install, but Granite Center was able to get a plumber out first thing the next morning. The plumber hooked up our faucet and installed a new garbage disposal. We were pleased with the entire process. When we initially visited the showroom, we were undecided on what we really wanted. Ramazan showed us several samples and listened to our likes/dislikes until we found the perfect granite for our kitchen. We were able to schedule an appointment for them to come out and measure our kitchen. We visited the showroom on a Saturday and they were able to come by that following Monday. After the estimate was provided, we visited the showroom again to see the granite, just to be sure it was what we wanted. After making the final decision, Ramazan set up an appointment for the granite to be installed the following week. The workers who installed the granite worked quickly and efficiently, showing the utmost respect for our home and cleaning up once they were finished. The plumber who came the next day was just as efficient and knowledgeable. You could tell that all of the workers were skilled in their craft. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and professional. My wife and I are very pleased with the results and will definitely use Granite Center for future renovation projects.”
